Masdar Online Store – Terms & Conditions for Quotations

Quotation Validity

  • All quotations issued by Masdar Online are valid until the expiration date specified in the printed and sent quotation, unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices, product availability, and terms mentioned are subject to change after the validity period without prior notice.

Quotation Request & Issuance

  • A quotation does not constitute a confirmed order or a binding contract. An order is only confirmed upon completion of the purchase and payment process.
  • Registered customers may request quotations through the Masdar Online platform or via our authorized sales representatives.

Pricing & Taxes

  • Quoted prices include Value Added Tax (VAT) in accordance with the regulations of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, unless otherwise stated.
  • Delivery and installation charges, if applicable, will be listed separately in the quotation.

Product Availability

  • All products listed in the quotation are subject to actual availability at the time of order confirmation.
  • Masdar Online reserves the right to cancel any item in the quotation due to unavailability or withdraw the quotation entirely.

Modifications & Changes

  • Customers may request modifications to the quotation before final acceptance, which may result in a revised quotation being issued.
  • Masdar Online reserves the right to amend or withdraw a quotation at any time prior to its acceptance by the customer.

Quotation Acceptance

  • Accepting the quotation does not automatically confirm the order. The customer must complete the purchase on the website and make the payment for the quotation to become an actual order.
  • Upon successful payment, an order confirmation will be sent to the customer via email and SMS.

Payment Terms

  • Payment must be made using the available payment methods on the platform (e.g., credit account, prepayment, SADAD, etc.).
  • For B2B credit-approved customers, payment terms as agreed in commercial contracts must be adhered to.

Order Fulfillment

  • Once a quotation is converted into a confirmed order, the customer will be informed of the expected delivery timeframe based on product availability and location.
  • In the event of unexpected delivery delays (e.g., logistical issues or supplier delays), the customer will be notified accordingly.

Special-Order Products

  • Quotations may include special-order products supplied upon customer request (e.g., direct procurement items).
  • These items are non-cancellable and non-returnable once the quotation is accepted and converted into an order, unless received with a manufacturing defect. In such cases, the manufacturer is responsible for addressing the issue under warranty terms.
  • The estimated delivery time for such items will be communicated upon order issuance and depends on supplier availability and local/international shipping schedules.
  • Masdar Online will notify the customer in case of major delays or changes related to special-order products.

Cancellation & Return Policy

  • A quotation may be canceled at any time before it is accepted and converted into an order.
  • Once a quotation is converted into a confirmed order, cancellations and returns are subject to Masdar Online’s published and approved return policies.
  • Eligible return items must meet specified conditions, such as being in original packaging, unused, and within the allowable return period.
  • If eligible, refunds will be processed according to the method and timeline indicated upon approval of the return request.
  • Customers have the right to request a refund or replacement for products found to have a manufacturing defect, provided the defect is reported within 7 days of receipt.

Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising from quotations will be resolved amicably in accordance with the applicable E-Commerce Law in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the matter will be escalated to the competent authority or the Consumer Protection Department in the Kingdom.

Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including but not limited to the E-Commerce Law and Consumer Protection Regulations.
